Puzzle
Two games on one board: splash art behind sixteen tiles, one more turning over with every wrong guess.
Puzzle: Splash
A random skin, tile by tile
Name the champion, then name the skin — the second half only this mode asks.
Puzzle: Default Skin
Base splash art only
No skins, ever — so the palette is always the champion's own.
Which one to play
Splash is the fuller game. The art is drawn from any of the champion's skins, which makes a single tile harder to trust — a Star Guardian or PROJECT skin can dress a champion in colours they never normally wear — and it is the only puzzle mode with a second question: once you have named the champion, it asks which of their skins you have been staring at.
Default Skin removes the lottery. Same grid, same unlocks, but always skin zero, so a palette you recognise is always telling you the truth. There is no skin to name at the end, because there was never a choice.
What they share
Sixteen pieces each, one unlocked per wrong guess, and auto-reveal on by default — turn it off and unlocked tiles wait as face-down placeholders until you click them. Clicking a revealed tile hides it again, which costs nothing. The tiles are scattered deliberately away from the champion's face, and the final piece is always the face itself.
Skip costs one wrong guess and unlocks exactly what a wrong guess would have. Give Up reveals every tile at once and does not count towards your streak. Both answers reset at midnight UTC, and everyone gets the same ones.
